The box does have a coffee stain on interior felt, I cleaned inside out with upholstery cleaner and steam it but won't come. Earlier model year W126 won't have the forward mounting point but does fit snugly in place, I tested this on my 88 560sel. Console also comes with key that locks box securely. This lock box can also be added to Mercedes W126 earlier years if an extra storage is needed.

This console is gray in color with no tearing of leather. This console took place of the glove box since in 89 model year Mercedes replaced with a passenger air bag. Zebrano wood cassette retracts and has been lubricated.There are some varnish cracks as seen in pics but everything is intact functional. This listing is for the console lock box model year 89-91 Mercedes W126/C126 Will fit all model's in those years.
